Steps for Showering
We know how tempting it can be during cold winter months to take extra hot showers. It may feel good, but ultimately it will irritate and dry out your skin more. Instead, take shorter, mild showers to avoid drying out your skin. If you’re already suffering from dry, itchy legs, it’s best to skip shaving. Instead of shaving daily, try every other day. Shaving can further cause dryness, irritation and itching. While in the shower, make it a point to exfoliate. Using a loofah or sponge to gently exfoliate your body from head to toe will help remove dead skin cells, which can build up and cause more itching and flakiness.
