If you’ve never used turmeric or even heard of it, now is the time to add this multi-beneficial ingredient to your life. Most known for its use in curry and spice dishes, turmeric is one of the most researched and beneficial plants in the world. Not only does it taste yummy in curry dishes, but it’s also an effective anti-inflammatory and research has shown it can even help treat depression, relieve eczema, and improve digestion.
While most people use turmeric for cooking and internal care, it also makes an excellent skincare ingredient. It can help reduce redness, combats acne inflammation, and can exfoliate the skin and tighten pores. Here are a few easy-to-make turmeric recipes to add to your skincare regimen.
